The J. Nicole Memorial Scholarship was established in loving memory of Jamaari Nicole, whose life was tragically cut short at the age of 17. Although her time here was brief, her light, beautiful smile, and unwavering love continue to live on through those she touched and those who loved her deeply.
Jamaari was a remarkable young woman with dreams, goals, and a compassionate heart. She possessed an infectious spirit that brought joy to everyone around her. Despite her own challenges, Jamaari consistently showed up for others with encouragement, laughter, support, and the ability to create lasting memories.
EPE will continue to be honored in her memory by ensuring that her spirit and legacy continue to shine. This scholarship was created to recognize and support students who demonstrate compassion, persevere through life’s challenges, and uplift those around them-qualities that defined Jamaari’s life.
This J. Nicole Memorial scholarship represents far more than financial assistance. In Jamaari’s absence, it is the hope that each recipient carries forward the same kindness, strength, love for others, and determination that made Jamaari so special.
The J. Nicole Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a first-year college student pursuing a career in the health sciences. Eligible fields of study include, but are not limited to, nursing, medicine, patient care, occupational therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, athletic training, and other health-related professions.
